Dr. Neenah Estrella-Luna is the principal and owner of StarLuna Consulting. She is a researcher, 

educator, advocate, and consultant focusing on issues related to social justice, social resilience, and democratic governance. She is also an active member of the Massachusetts Advisory Committee for the US Commission on Civil Rights. Dr. Estrella-Luna was a professor of law & policy and political 

sociology for 15 years before leaving academia to work with grassroots organizations and policymakers to develop and advocate for policies and practices that support social equity in law and policy. 

Maria Latimore is an organizational development consultant. She facilitates the development and 

implementation of racial equity/social justice initiatives and change management projects. As the 

project director for Homes for Equity, Maria is leading a team to design and implement an innovative affordable housing initiative in Boston to help close the 

racial wealth gap. She manages the community engagement, research, policy and overall coordination of Homes for Equity.
