2025 is the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution - a fight that played out here in Roxbury. We'll explore that little known history, and also look at revolutionary leaders today - and hear form young people about what revolution look like tomorrow.


Thomas is a long-time friend and supporter of UUUM. He served on the board of Discover Roxbury from 2004-2011. He has been deeply involved in local history (and in particular the history of the Meetinghouse), has for many years coordinated the Patriot’s Day celebration that takes place on our campus, and leads Urban Ministry walking tours. Thomas will be discussing how the Revolution's role in Roxbury. He will shed light on the significant events, key figures, and effects that the Revolution had on the social, political, and economic fabric of Roxbury. Through his discussion, By examinin…
